PROJECT UNIT 11
ANGLOPHONE CULTURE AROUND THE WORLD
In Unit 11, students, in groups, will look for information, and create a text explaining the main cultural
features of Anglophone cities that we find in the world. Later, they will share this information with the rest of the class by doing an oral presentation.
PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: Groups of students will be assigned a city. They will
consider the following information to create their scripts:

gastronomy
–
number of inhabitants
–
environmental conditions
–
economy
–
celebrations
–
monuments
–
cinema
–
literature
–
music
–
sports culture
–
etc.
STEP 2: students have to do a research. They will use the computer room to gather
information related to the points mentioned before. The activities carried out
during the rest of the sessions will also contribute to their final products.
FINAL TASK: Students
will do their oral presentations. They will be assessed following the oral presentation rubric.
